I have been selected to represent my homeland Greece in the EuroCosplay Championships 2015 in London, England, as the winner of the qualifiers, Comicdom Con, which took place last spring in Athens, Greece.
The winning costume was Sylvanas Windrunner, the dark lady, the Banshee queen. The version I chose to cosplay is the Undead Lady Sylvanas, and my main reference was her Hearthstone portrait. She is found in many Blizzard videogames and seems to be a pretty popular character.

There are minor changes that have to take place regarding my costume and improvements as well, until I am finally ready for the big competition. I also have to create my stage props and embellish the costume further. Apart from that, preparations have to be made regarding my stage performance. Sylvanas is found in World of Warcraft singing “Lament Of The Highborne”, parts of which I am going to perform live on stage. I also need to practice my routine, where I’ll be dancing around with my bow and daggers.

Future Cosplays:
Right now I don’t have any specific plans regarding future cosplays. My main goal is to work on original characters and designs. However, if I were to make a future cosplay plan, that would include more Blizzard characters, Alexstrasza maybe, who shares models with Sylvanas Windrunner, or even Valeera. Since Dishonored is one of my favourite games, cosplaying the sequel’s main character, Emily Kaldwin, is an option as well.
